CROWD SINGS AFTER WRECKAGE WRECKED THE PA!

The show was set to be a great one. After weeks of planning, the night was finally here to play the oldest pub in Bristol. Built in 1606, the Hatchet Inn is one of the most respected rock venues around. Hosting a variety of club and band nights, one of which is the Ghetto Viking club nights and for the first time, a Ghetto Viking live music night. DripFed Empire and Wreckage of Society were both to play a 40 minuet set each, upstairs in the Hatchet, followed by the Hip Hop Heavy metal club night.

DripFed Empire hit the stage at 8:30 and played an incredible set but unfortunately had some problems with the PA system, but carried on the show. When Wreckage of Society came to play their set, the audience were a little disappointed... There were no vocals. The band carried on playing the rest of 'Let it all go', the first song in their set, despite the lack of vocals, as the crew gathered around the mixing desk.

The end of the song was quickly followed by smoke and a burning essence of a fried mixing desk. At which point the whole room knew something hadn't gone so well, Wreckage had wrecked the PA. The Band agreed to "Jam" and the audience loved it. What really went down well though, is when the band was asked to play 'Summer of 69', and the whole crowd were singing at the top of their lungs. A night that was meant to be filled with live music, was just that and the club night followed as normal.
